Control Wire LabellingControl wiring / Labelling Panel wiring is surprisingly time-consuming to produce.
It involves cutting a wire of the right length, colour and cross sectional area, stripping the insulation, fitting bootlace ferrules, printing labels, fitting the labels into sleeves, fitting the sleeves onto the wire etc. This can easily take 1.5-2 minutes per wire. Studies show that this adds up to well over $3 per wire in labour and material cost. Also it requires a large stock of consumables and specialised printing and crimping tools. We offer the customer the option of outsourcing this tedious part of the job. The benefits to the customer are:
Naturally if we have produced the drawings for you, then this process will already be half done, and there is a time and cost saving to you. In addition to wire markers we can make labels for just about anything else: Equipment tag labels, Customised rating plates, Cable tags, you name it. We use the Brady labelling material and thermal transfer printers. Refer www.bradyaust.com.au for the full range of printable labels, and refer to the the attached list of material currently stocked by us. Label and wire stock list The selection of stocked material will grow over time as demand dictates. Any material not stocked by us can be brought in especially , in return for a small stocking fee. The benefit to the customer is the same as mentioned above: only pay for the small amount you use, rather than a whole box of labels that may never be used again.. |
